Children from 4-11 who have at least one parent practicing Vedic Meditation are invited to come and learn a fun, simplified version of the technique in a 60-minute session.
Children are asked to bring a piece of fruit, a flower and a piece of original artwork they've made for the event. My boys, Logan and Joshua learned when they were each a bout five years old, and it's been a wonderful thing to see them meditate when they're upset, or scooch up next to my wife or I when we're meditating. And when kids learn it makes the "part of the team," which means they're more likely to cut you some slack and not interrupt so much when you're meditating. (At least that's how it works sometimes in our house.)
I love teaching kids. Hope you can join us.
